Welcome!

I've been lurking...

Have you felt it? Felt my... presence? Lurking.... all over YOUR website?

It's almost a little dirty. I'm not going to lie. I felt bad. Snooping around... reading everyone’s posts... drooling over their nom-worthy food! I felt a little dirty...

I felt like an intruder… looking into your worlds from the side lines… reading your posts about Edmonton food, your recipes from across the globe, your posts about your adorable munchkins, your sweet puppy, your loving husband…

Then it hit me... Dude! I can do something like this… right?
I know! Take a picture of that dish! It looks good!

So, I would... like the pros... Although instead of setting up an amazing shoot with natural lighting with a fancy Canon Digital SLR camera... I would go all new age, whip out my iPhone, and snap a shot of my masterpiece!

Seconds later it would be posted, up on my facebook with anticipation... Who’s going to like it? Will they comment? Will they want to know how I did it?

I know, I know... needy right? I crave the attention I was getting with my facebook food posts!

But then it hit me... maybe, just maybe, I'm being annoying... and maybe, everyone of my hundred-and-some friends don’t really want to know that I made hummus (again, but this time I made Naan too!) or that I’ve been letting the dough for my pizza bread rise for the past hour!


So, I decided to start blogging... posting more recipes on (hopefully) a daily, or bi-daily basis. Please, don’t hold me to this first post, as I assure you, I never hold up to my promises... I started tweeting... that lasted, like ppht... 3 months... now I just lurk on there too... reading your tweets... your blogs... oh god I am creepy..

Anyways, here goes...

Hopefully you guys don’t find me that creepy...
